50 years ago, Plastic Industry (Mtius) Ltd, currently known as PIM Limited., a pioneer in the manufacture of plastic products, started its operations at a time when Mauritius was undertaking its first steps as a politically and economically independent nation. Since then, we have diligently and proudly served Mauritian companies and contributed to the emergence of a resilient manufacturing sector. PIM Limited has contributed to the growth of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries as well as the food processing industry, to name a few. We now operate to international standards (ISO 9001: 2000) and are accredited by The Coca Cola Company Ltd, as their official supplier of plastic crates. In June 2020, we obtained the HACCP Certification, an internationally recognized Food Safety Management System, key in our service to the agri-food industry. We participate in numerous projects to encourage sustainable local consumption. With more than 500 molds, we propose a huge range of products such as paint buckets, bins, storage boxes, containers, chairs and stools, jerrycans, bottles and jars. We recycle approximately 23% of our own plastic waste and rejects. Each year we recover an average of 50,000kg of plastic for recycling from some of our customers. In 2019, we ran a campaign - Together, let’s recycle plastic - to continue our awareness mission. We also strongly encourage our clients to choose packaging solutions made of recycled materials. Today, PIM Limited remains committed to serve Mauritian and regional businesses and the public at large. We will continue to promote the responsible use of plastics.

As a local manufacturer, proud of our Mauritian Identity, we strive to promote local entrepreneurship and consumption.
