The company started manufacturing products like chilled cooked hams, packed under vacuum, under the brand Charcuterie Isle de France in 1992. At that time, only imported canned hams were available in Mauritius. We now offer an extensive range of chilled and frozen products, which are readily available in all retail outlets. Our company has been HACCP certified since 2006 and to-date it is still the only charcuterie in Mauritius to have achieved such certification.
Whilst La Charcuterie Isle de France is often associated with hams, it also includes bacons, sausages (raw, cooked, smoked), boucanés,
mortadella, ham rolls etc.

The “Made in Moris” label showcases the expertise and savoir-faire behind which the products are manufactured in Mauritius. It emphasizes the importance of buying local products in order to create job opportunities and maintain employment in Mauritius.
